Food and Medicinal Uses:
All parts of qwáyúwél are edible. Young leaves are eaten raw in salads or cooked.
Rich in Vitamins A, C, E, and B-complex, iron, calcium, and potassium.
Used as a tonic, and treats liver, kidney, bladder, urinary tract and digestive problems, tuberculosis.
Other Uses:
Roots twisted to make string.
