Food and Medicinal Uses:
Berries ripen in July and eaten fresh, dried, or mashed and dried as cakes
Juice relieves stomach upset.
Made into medicinal eye and ear drops.
Other Uses:
Ts'eslátselhp wood is straight-grained, hard, and could be fire-hardened. It was used to make arrow, harpoon and spear shafts, as well as digging sticks and eulachon rakes.
