Contains a compound similar to the medicinal ingredient in aspirin, and is used for pain relief.
Treats inflammation, fever, stomach ailment and digestive problems, headaches, arthritis, and rheumatism.
Other Uses:
Strong and flexible wood is used for a variety of purposes.
Supple branches are used for rope.
Inner bark swisted into twine or string for different types of nets.
CAUTION: People who are sensitive to aspirin should not use willow.
